Recently, an Instagram post surfaced online that shed light on Shera’s journey, giving a glimpse of his life beyond guarding Salman. It also shared details about how he met the superstar, his early career and personal sacrifices. The post also mentioned that his estimated net worth is around Rs 100 crore.
Early Life And Career
Shera’s real name is Gurmeet Singh Jolly. In an interview, Shera shared that people began calling him Shera after he started his security company, Tiger Security. Before joining Bollywood, he guarded Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves during a visit to India.

Sacrifices And Loyalty
Shera’s loyalty to Salman is widely recognised. Being a Punjabi, he initially wore a turban but later gave it up and cut his hair to move more easily through crowds to ensure Salman’s safety.
His dedication is so strong that he has openly spoken about the lengths he would go to protect Salman. “I can take a bullet for him,” he had said as per the post.
Salman has also expressed his complete trust in him, saying, “I trust him with my life, family, and everything I have.”
Earnings And Lifestyle
Shera earns a monthly salary of Rs 15 lakh from Salman, which totals to nearly Rs 2 crore annually. In addition to this, Salman provides him with various other perks. Alongside protecting Salman, Tiger Security, which serves Bollywood celebrities and major events, also contributes significantly to his estimated net worth of Rs 100 crore.
In 2024, he attracted media attention when he purchased a Range Rover worth Rs 1.40 crore.
Recognition From Salman
In 2011, during the shoot of the film Bodyguard, Salman chose to wear the uniform of Shera’s security company instead of accepting a higher-paid offer from another firm.
