However, skills will be a vital way of improving how well are able to tackle many of the trials ahead of you.
Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora – How To Play Multiplayer
If you’re trying to play multiplayer in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, here’s how you can find your friends along the way.
Skills in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s skills are sorted into 5 different groups. These include Hunter, Maker, Rider, Survivor, and Warrior. Some of these skills will come in the form of an always-present passive buff, while others will need to be manually activated.
10 Flying Takedown
Whenever You Encounter An Airborne Hostile
- Memories of the Rider gives you aerial superiority
- Quickly and effectively take out threats on your ikran
This will be one of the latter early skills, due to you needing to progress to the point where you unlock the Memories of the Rider skill tree. The RDA has no shortage of aircraft to throw your way, be it a Scorpion or a Samson. This can make your time flying on your ikran go from a serine and peace flight to a fierce combat encounter. This skill is an excellent choice to have taken in advance for whenever such a situation comes up.
This skill will allow your ikran to perform a takedown whenever your target becomes staggered — finishing them off. While the Improved Energy skills will give you 20% more energy to out-dodge and attack your foes, the Flying Takedown just accomplishes the same end result in a much shorter amount of time.
9 Raw Food Diet
For When You Really Need Energy
- Memories of the Survivor keeps you alive
- Top up energy in a pinch
You will need to gather up lots of food in the game in order to restore your energy. However, sometimes you will want to restore a sizable chunk of your energy, but not be able to cook your ingredients. This skill will replenish twice the amount of energy by eating up the ingredients raw.
It is a great skill to have whenever you find yourself in need of it. However, what puts it at the bottom of this list is that it is still better to always have everything cooked. This makes its use more circumstantial than anything else, but that does not take away just how useful it will be when you may need it.
8 Renowned Crafter
For When You Want The Best Items
- Memories of the Maker gives you the best items
- Craftsman will provide better items
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora features many Na’vi that act as craftsman in the game. You can interact with them to get your hands on various items. However, they don’t just show you the good stuff right off the bat. That is where Renowned Crafter comes in. With this skill, these Na’vi will show you the best items available for you to buy them.
While this is indeed great, the reason it is not higher on this list is how much more useful the other skills can be earlier on in the game with how much use you will get out of them. This skill will still give you good items sooner, and that will make a difference.
Useful Every Time You Go In Quiet
- Memories of the Hunter is perfect for stealth players
- It is a bit costly to get down the skill tree
Light-Footed Hunter I might come up a lot sooner, but if stealth plays a massive role in your gaming experience, you will want to get Light-Footed Hunter II as soon as possible. Light-Footed Hunter I will have you making less noise as you move around, which is good for getting the drop on your enemies.
Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora – 10 Tips & Tricks For Beginners
Pandora can be a beautiful yet dangerous world to explore; here are some tricks to survive the forest and RDA in Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora.
However, Light-Footed Hunter II will let you run at your enemies in complete silence. This can render patrols completely at your mercy, as you can just stealthily take down enemies from behind in quick succession without crouching. What knocks it down the list is that you will not always have the option to be stealthy, and will need to pick up some skills before you get to this one.
6 Well Prepared
Have The Right Tools For The Job
- Memories of the Warrior will make you more deadly
- Unlocks an extra slot for your weapon wheel
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora offers a lot of different weapons and ammo types. This skill will unlock an extra slot in your weapon wheel, meaning you can cover a wider range of options for whatever the game happens to throw your way. You should always have a bow with you, as arrows will prove to be one of the most universally effective options for the majority of the game.
However, there are plenty of human weapons that can get the job done better in specific circumstances. Even if you end up just holding a weapon you never use, it is better to have it on hand and not use it, rather than not have it when you might need it.
Don’t Fall A Couple Shots Short
- Memories of the Warrior will make you more deadly
- Increases the amount of Ammo you can carry
Being able to carry around more ammo than normal means you can be more liberal with your shots as you will have a lot more at your disposal when going into an area filled with enemies. This skill will allow you to carry a larger amount of arrows, gun ammo, and spears.
There is another Extra Ammo skill down the line in the form of Extra Ammo II. This one will let you carry more special ammo. However, you won’t need to worry about getting Extra Ammo II while you are still early into the game, you can focus on that later in your journey.
4 Larger Healing Pouch I
You Will Get Hurt A Lot
- Memories of the Survivor keeps you alive
- An extra heal can be the difference between success and failure
Since this is an action-adventure game, expect to get into more than just a few scraps. Throughout the game, you will accrue damage and need to patch yourself up — that is where Dapophet Pods come in. You will be burning through these pods as the game ups the difficulty on you — or throws a particularly deadly situation your way.
Having an extra heal on hand can push for just enough extra time to turn a failure into a success. There is another level of this skill later in the Memories of the Survivor skill tree, but you should not worry about getting it so early into the game.
3 Elemental Resistance
Shake Off A Third Of Damage You Take
- Memories of the Survivor keeps you alive.
- Resistance against fire, poison, and electricity is increased by 30%.
While having extra healing on hand is great for when you do get hurt, taking less damage from harmful sources will be just as important to avoid death. The game will have many different ways of sending harm your way in order to drop your health down to 0.
Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora – How To Change Your Appearance
Become the Na’vi you want to be in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora!
This includes fire hazards, electricity to keep clear of, toxic poisons, and of course, there will be plenty of physical damage incoming from the RDA soldiers’ weapons. This skill will not grant you any protection from those RDA weapons, but it will help you shake off a third of the damage from the others.
2 Vitality I
Hold Out Longer Before You Need To Heal
- Memories of the Survivor keeps you alive
- Your base health is increased by 30
While healing back up is a great way to not go down, having a larger maximum pool of health is bar far the better of the two options. If you take a large hit of damage that is enough to finish off the rest of your remaining health, having this skill will allow you to soak up that hit and stay alive long enough to heal yourself back up.
You cannot heal above your maximum limit, so having a naturally high limit will be ideal when it comes to finding yourself in trouble and not being able to stop and recover your missing health.
1 Connoisseur II
Always Have A Buff Ready
- Memories of the Maker gives you the best stuff
- Lets you perform at your absolute best
Cooked food is a great way to give yourself a buff — although they can be rather short-lived. These buffs allow you to perform even better in the game by going beyond the normal limits that your character is capable of achieving. Connoisseur I will extend the duration of these buffs so that you can make use of them even longer when in the thick of a fight.
However, Connoisseur II will increase the effect of the buffs you get from cooked food, making you go further beyond the limitations of your buffs — and allowing you to perform at your absolute peak performance.
