Dying Light: The Beast Hardware Requirements

Techland has revealed the PC specifications for Dying Light: The Beast, meaning fans now know how much hardware they’ll need to be packing to handle the latest zombie survival shooter.

Dying Light: The Beast is a spin-off title that takes a new twist on the parkour zombie series. Instead of a regular human, Dying Light: The Beast stars Kyle Crane, a person who was experimented on and now has animalistic powers. These gifts allow him to fight back against the undead horde, giving him more options than just guns and explosives.

The Dying Light games can be pretty rough to run, owing to their large open worlds and numerous on-screen enemies. Those looking to jump into Dying Light: The Beast on PC when it launches on September 19 can now see if their rigs will run it, as the Techland Twitter/X account has revealed the specs needed for the game.

Dying Light: The Beast PC Hardware Specs

The lower end of the scale requires an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060/AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT/Intel Arc A750 with 6GB of GPU Memory and either an Intel i5-13400F or AMD Ryzen 7 5800F for the CPU. Those who want the game on the highest settings need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070/AMD Radeon RX 9070/Intel Arc B580 with 12GB GPU Memory and either Intel i9-14900K or AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3D for CPU.

All players will need a 70GB SSD to run the game, putting it in line with most obnoxious hard drive space-eating games. Dying Light: The Beast will support Ray-tracing, Ultra-wide, NVIDIA DLSS 4, Dynamic Resolution Support, and HDR Support.

Dying Light: The Beast is being sandwiched between some very busy gaming periods, with October especially being packed full of games. Hopefully, it won’t get lost in the shuffle, as it looks way more interesting than its predecessor, despite the cheesy name.
