With RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 set to make its way out this month on consoles and PC, developer Sandfall Interactive has shared a good chunk of info about the game today, including when we can start to play it.

Not only that, but we also got a new character trailer introducing one more member of the cast, as well as what performance we can expect from the console versions.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Will Have Just One Start Time For Everyone Worldwide

In the press release sent out by publisher Kepler Interactive, the publisher mentions that the game can be preloaded now on Xbox Series X|S (no word on when for PS5), and that the game’s digital release will be synced globally to launch at 12 am PDT/3 pm EDT. This means that regardless of platform and account region, everyone will be playing the game at the same.

There’s also a new character trailer released today featuring Sciel, that’s featured in the video above. According to Sandfall, Sciel is a cheerful and serene warrior, “Warrior. A farmer turned teacher, Sciel is warm and outgoing, enjoying life day by day. She is at ease with death, having long accepted the brutality of their world. But her teasing smile masks a dark and painful past. Though deeply committed to the Expedition, she is untroubled by the specter of failure.”

Info on the game’s trophies/achievements have also been revealed too. Clair Obsucr: Expedition 33 will have a total of 55 achievements to earn in-game, or 56 trophies when you include the Platinum for PS5. Some of the trophies/achievements players can work torwards the game include:

• Expeditioner – Reach level 33.
• Overcharge – With Gustave, use a fully charged Overcharge that Breaks an enemy.
• Follow The Trail – Find all of the journals from prior expeditions.
• Professional – Defeat a boss without taking any damage.
• Connoisseur – Find all 33 music records.

There are also trophies tied to a variety of challenges as part of the game’s main story, mastering the fulll potential of each party member’s battle skills and more.

Sandfall does have something in mind to help players not get lost.

Sandall has also talked about the game’s performance on consoles and PC. The Unreal Engine 5-developed game will feature Performance and Quality graphics modes to either improve frame rate or image resolution, much like most games these days. Those who have a PS5 Pro, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will also be PS5 Pro Enhanced, meaning players on the console can look forward to enhanced performance.

In other news about Expedition 33, teh developers confirmed that they were not only inspired by old-school JRPGs, but even with one Souls-like game.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 releases on April 24 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
