2024 was a stellar year for JRPG fans, and the DS staff gathered to decide which title reigned supreme among all the impeccable releases.

Square Enix has revealed that the system requirements require 155 GB of SSD storage. You’ll also need an NVIDIA GeForce RRX 2060, AMD Radeon RX 6600, or Intel Arc 1580 video card, at minimum. The developer recommends at least an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070.

We’ve included the full list of PC specs below, covering the game’s minimum, recommended, and ultra requirements. If you want the game to look its best, we hope you have a 4080!

What to Expect in the PC Version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

It’s time for the million-dollar question: what does investing in a top-of-the-line PC get you with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

Square promises capable PCs can run at a frame rate of up to 120 FPS. You’ll also have a “range of visual enhancements, including refined lighting, improved environment detail, and more detailed textures.” While they reference NVIDIA DLSS support, it doesn’t sound like it’s a sure thing that it will be available at launch.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth continues to storyline that left off in Final Fantasy 7 Remake in 2020. Rather than being a ‘normal’ remake, FF7 Remake and Rebirth create a sort of sequel, alternate timeline of events, so you can expect Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and the gang’s adventure to continue diverging from the original 1997 game in their quest to save the world and change their fates.
