How To Get Scavenger Matron Head

Enshrouded How To Get Scavenger Matron Head 1-1

Scavenger Gorger Matron resides in a small camp in the Hill of Scavengers, as shown on the map above. Once you get inside the camp, you need to make your way to the higher ground in the middle of it to find Matron. He is a fat giant scavenger that will begin to throw poisonous projectiles at you as soon as the battle begins. If you get closer to him to deal melee damage, he will poke poison at your head, which could heavily damage you.

If you find it difficult to kill Matron, you can make your way behind the wooden wall at the entrance of his arena. The wall will keep you safe from Matron’s poison projectiles, serving as a great cover to recover your health and mana. There is also an explosive barrel in the middle of the arena. If you manage to lure Matron next to the barrel and then shoot at it with an arrow or cast a spell on it, the explosion can deal a big amount of damage to the boss.

Once Matron is dead, you can loot his body to collect the head. Matron’s head is a crucial requirement for upgrading the Flame of Altar from Level 2 to Level 3, which will allow you to step into higher-level Shroud zones in the game.
