Blaldur’s Gate 3 is a massive RPG that is set in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. You will take on a character known as Tav (or one of the Origin Characters) as you try to defend the Sword Coast from the Mind Flayers.

Throughout your time in Faerun, you will come across some tough puzzles and challenges. Whether you are trying to solve the Open Hand Temple Murders, or you are trying to solve the mystery of Dribbles the Clown, you have a lot to do. One thing you may find it the Scuffed Rock at the beginning of the game. Here’s how to solve that puzzle.

Where Is The Scuffed Rock?

The Scuffed Rock is located near the Nautiloid crash. You will need to jump down the cliff to the west of the crash to find this rock. You can find the exact location on the map above. Upon finding it, if you pass a Perception Check, one of your companions will remark that there are scuffs around the rock. This will lead you to realize that this rock has been moved before, and it must be hiding something beneath it.

How Do You Move The Scuffed Rock?

Upon approaching the Scuffed Rock, the game will probably tell you that the item is too heavy to lift. If this is the case, you will want to switch to a character that has 13 or more Strength. These characters include Shadowheart, Lae’zel, and Karlach. Once you have switched to one of these characters, you will need to select the Scuffed Rock and slowly drag it over so that you can move it over some. If you do not click and hold on to the rock, you won’t be able to move it over. Once it has been moved over, you will learn that it is a chest that contains information about the Harpers.
