How To Repair Vehicles
Due to the hazardous environment in Death Stranding 2, it’s very easy to damage your vehicle. Fall damage, crashing into structures, and getting attacked by enemies can all cause damage to your vehicle.
Repairing a vehicle is straightforward, as all you need to do is bring it to a major facility with a garage. Not all facilities have garages, only the larger ones, so keep that in mind.
You’ll know you found a garage if you can physically drive the vehicle into the facility and there is a circular platform in the center.

How To Recharge Vehicles
There are multiple ways to recharge a vehicle’s batteries in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. For starters, players can use Generators to recharge any battery-powered equipment, such as Skeletons and vehicles. Generators are PCC LV 1 structures.

Players can also recharge the vehicle’s battery by simply waiting in the sun and not moving. Each vehicle is solar-powered, so it can gradually recharge its battery when in direct sunlight. However, this method can take a very long time, and it’s only recommended as a last resort.
Lastly, players can recharge vehicles by entering energy zones. These zones are found on roads and bridges constructed by porters or in the surrounding area of a facility connected to the Chiral Network.
How To Increase Vehicle Battery
If you want to reduce the amount of time you spend recharging the battery of your vehicle, you can do so in a couple of ways.
One way to increase vehicle battery is by unlocking the Battery Efficiency Boost APAS skill. This helpful skill reduces vehicle battery consumption by 8%. This percentage doesn’t sound like a lot, but it actually makes a huge difference.
Players can also increase vehicle battery by completing orders for West Fort Knot and reaching a 2-star connection level.
After reaching 2 stars with West Fort Knot, they will reward you with the blueprint for Battery Units. You can attach up to 6 battery units for each vehicle, making a significant difference in battery length.
