Stellar Blade And Helldivers 2 Debut In Over 100 Countries

The Steam Summer Sale 2025 is just around the corner, but this year, things might be slightly different for players in some countries. Following the recent move by Sony to lift the regional restrictions across more than 100 countries, more players than ever will now have access to some of PlayStation’s PC ports.

The sale is a good chance every year for gamers to grab various items at a discount, whether it’s wishlisted games from the past or newer premier titles. While we can’t be certain of every game that will go on sale or by how much, we do know that the sale will start on June 26th and continue until July 10th 2025.

For many users around the world, this will be their first chance to access titles such as Helldivers 2 or The Last of Us Remastered, since these games were previously region-locked until just this past week.

Stellar Blade Helping To Slash Prices?

Following the massive success of Stellar Blade’s release on Steam, Sony appeared to respond by opening up access on the platform to many of their older games as well. The timing couldn’t be better for gamers in the affected countries, as now they will likely be able to pick up many of Sony’s premier titles at a much lower price.

While it remains unlikely that Stellar Blade itself will receive a price cut so soon after its release, many other titles, including God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will likely get some form of discount when the sale begins.

Additionally, many players will be looking to titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Elden Ring for their regular seasonal discounts, particularly the latter with the recent release of its Nightreign counterpart.
