There are a few major cities for players to find and explore in Starfield. Within most of them will be bars for locals or travelers to relax, get a drink, and meet each other. These bars tend to be great locations for players to go and recruit new crew members.

While many players may want to assign their crew members to their ship, they can get just as many useful perks by assigning the right crew member to an Outpost. Andromeda Kepler is one of these crew members that is a great addition for players trying to build the best outpost.

Where To Find Andromeda Kepler

Andromeda Kepler can be found in the city of Cydonia, on the planet Mars, in the Sol system. When entering Cydonia, head through the main walkway and look to the left once you see the “Hours Without Accident” sign overhead. To the right will be an overhead screen with a skull biting a spear in half and displaying the name “Broken Spear.” Head inside and down the stairs, over to the right side of the bar, to find Andromeda Kepler.

Recruiting Andromeda Kepler & Her Stats

After telling Andromeda that you’re an explorer, she will offer to join your crew. She can be recruited outright for 12,000 credits, but players should at least try to Persuade her first, as failing won’t have any consequences. Should the Persuasion succeed, her price will go down by half to 6,000 credits.

Andromeda has two points in Outpost Engineering; giving an Outpost she is assigned to access better modules than usual when building. She also has a level in Piloting and Aneutronic Fusion. While the piloting skill is nice, Aneutronic Fusion is a master-level skill and gives your ship an extra bar of energy when she is assigned to it. While Andromeda is a useful companion to have in an Outpost, she is equally as useful, if not more so, on a ship.
